Joanna & Julians Super Hero Wedding

November 04, 2014  •  1 Comment
Bridesmaids Joanna and Julians big day took place at Swynnerton Staffordshire at St Mary's church. Such a beautiful old church, inside I had a prime view from above in the old pews on the upper level. They felt a little precarious to say the least and at one point I got a splinter in my butt! We won't go into that thought!

MR & MRS

I like to steal my bride & grooms away if possible and get some unique images away from the wedding party. Joanna & Julian were very good sports and came along with their driver to the canal side in Stone where we manage to get some unique shots.

Grooms Shoes

Some people say "It's all about the shoes!" With me this would be true, I have a thing for feet. As I see it they take you places and what's more I love to record where they've been by photographing them in situ. [I have lots of photos of my feet, not pretty but memorable]

Cake

The venue was at The Mill Stone. I seem to be doing a few wedding there recently, perhaps its due to me moving house? I'm currently living at Blythe Bridge so Stone is literally a stones throw away [haha, get it?]

Aww
Us 2 I was super happy to be asked by the bride and groom if they could use this image I took to announce the fact that they are now pregnant and will be having a baby very soon! What great news, and guess who is going to get to cuddle and photo that beautiful baby? None other than me ;)
So I guess you're asking yourselves, so where are the super heroes at this wedding? Well the groom, best man, ushers all wore super hero cufflinks! I think that the bride was Wonder Woman with all the handmade things she crafted, super talented! As for the groom, well his strength was beyond measure, see for yourself -

Joanna's Hero

Thanks for choosing me to be there on the day, I really enjoyed myself and was so happy to be a part of your day x

Super Heroes!

Thank you again for being part of our day. You were both far more than just "photographers" on the day, and I knew we had made the right choice when your first task when meeting the men at the church was sorting out out buttonholes that we had failed to put on correctly. Moments later you were spread-eagled on the floor taking photos, and I knew we were in for something special.

Six months on and we still haven't finalised the pictures for our hard copy album - not because we are lazy, but because we have so many shots to choose from, narrowing down the choices is proving to be extremely difficult.

Thank you for allowing us to use the photo to announce our happy news as well. You have always been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and I look forward to the baby shoot!

We wish you all the best with your business, and will be recommending you to anyone that asks.

Julian (& Joanna of course!)
